There’s No Money To Be Made in Security …

The problem with feedback of any form, is that at the time, you can argue all you want against it, and say it is wrong, but it is only in the future, that you can go back and say … “you were wrong!”. I look back on our three successful spin-outs, I still hear the voices of those who did not believe in— or were not willing to see the potential — of these ideas that turned into great companies.

I am going to keep this simple. I remember bidding for funding for our spin-outs, and being told… “There’s no money to be made in security. We don’t think there’s a market there” … luckily we stuck with our vision and had people like Don Smith telling us that we were right. We are getting ready for our 4th cybersecurity spin-out.
