Conversion With A Scammer … Beware!

It was Monday morning, and I was just getting some work done, when the telephone went:

Basically the scammer wanted me to install a remote desktop (TeamViewer) on my computer. The software is a valid piece of software, it is just that the scammer wanted access to my computer. Overall TeamViewer is not a malicious piece of software, but the scammer aims to get someone to install it, and then setup an account that they will be able to log into the computer whenever they want. Once in, they have full access to your mobile phone, including all the saved passwords in your computer, such as for your banking login, your email login, and even access to your Webcam.

So, watch out!
