I am a Twitter follower of Matthew Green, and I saw this today:

And, he’s right. If someone is active on social media, there’s a good chance that you can see how they felt about something on a certain date in time. “It’s a nice sunny day”, or “Did you see the storm last night?”. But, as Matthew says, you might struggle to find the right search term. But, good old Twitter gives us the solution on the replies:

and there is the answer. And, then I realised that Twitter has an advanced search feature:

So I popped in @hibernianfc and between 20 May 2016 and 22 May 2016 [here]:

And when I search, it does take me back to 21 May 2016:

And there’s a whole lot of other search methods, including the minimum number of favs [here]:

Go have a look, if you have not looked already. There is some cool scripting you can do with this. I think for OSINT (Open Source Intelligence), it’s a winner.
