It’s been a great year for our research and teaching, and LinkedIn shows some of our activity and engagement. Overall, there have been over 13.1 million engagements for posted content.

No 1: Linus Torvald’s birthday
The peak of the year was around Linus Torvald’s birthday, and perhaps shows a good deal of love for Linux and open-source software. It had 239 comments, 397 reposts and 12,061 engagements [here]:

My Chat-GPT article outlined the worry around a world where education becames trival, and gained over 5,060 engagements, 242 reposts and 142 comments [here]:

No 4: SQL injection
Around six months agao, I wrong a fun little article on SQL injection for car number plate recognition and which gained nearly 1,500 engagements and 31 comments [here]:

Over a year ago, I posted on roots of i, j and k for integers and loops, and where FORTRAN required an integer to begin with an ‘i’, ‘j’ and ‘k’. It gained over 300 comments and 1,356 engagements [here]:
