The Simlist Cipher

The true art of a cybersecurity specialist is to make something that is not visible into a visible form. This might relate to the activity of an intruder, and where the analyst must piece together parts of a puzzle to work out the, “Who, Why, Where and When?” elements. A core skill is to translate information in one form — such as bits and bytes — into another form. One of the best ways of training your mind for this is to crack ciphers.

And, so, did you know that The Sims had a secret cipher embedded in the games? Well, the cipher — named Simlist — models itself on simple representations of the letters — as if a young child had written them:
